ZET Future Energy Lab Wunsiedel

In September 2022, one of Germany's largest CO₂-neutral hydrogen production plants, with a nominal power of 8.75 MW, was commissioned in Wunsiedel. The Center for Energy Technology (ZET) at the University of Bayreuth is collaborating with the operating company WUN H2 GmbH in the ZET Future Energy Lab Wunsiedel to research topics ranging from sustainable hydrogen production to local and regional hydrogen utilization.
